Hi,

I'm  Katie.

When I was seven years old, my mom signed me up for a two-week summer camp. In summary, the camp taught the basics of sewing, and from that moment on, I was hooked. Never would I have imagined that one silly camp would turn into a lifelong hobby—but here we are, more than ten years later.

After the camp, I started taking regular classes once a week. I got to learn new techniques and challenge myself with harder projects. Two years later, I outgrew the classes and started sewing entirely on my own.

Going into high school, I had sort of lost time for my passion in the throes of schoolwork and athletics. However, during my junior year, I started a program at Wilson Tech, where they offer a Fashion Design and Merchandising course. There, I was able to dedicate almost three hours every single day to what I love most.

Over the course of junior year at Tech, there were two fashion shows where I had the opportunity to model my own line of clothing. I debuted six original garments that I created from start to finish at our annual show. I’ve had the most amazing experience being at Tech my junior year and can’t wait to see what I continue to create in my senior year.

I created this website in hopes of displaying my designs and showcasing how far I’ve come over the last ten years.
